21 Karet Tengsin Residents Subject to Social Sanction for Not Wearing Masks

Tens Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) violators in Karet Tengsin Urban Village, Central Jakarta received 60 minutes social work sanction from the joint personnel, on Saturday (9/19).

Karet Tengsin Urban Village Head, Hari Ananda conveyed, 21 people were netted when joint personnel carried out Mask Operation at RW 04 and 07. This operation was done to implement Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) No. 88/2020.

"It is important to wear mask to protect ourselves, families, and people around us. Moreover during this pandemic. Wearing mask is very important because it can prevent us from viruses," he said.

Mask Operation, 201 PSBB Violators Netted in North Jakarta

This operation took place from 8 AM to 10 AM with total 12 joint personnel on duty. His side also reminded people to implement 3M movement, such as wearing mask, washing hands, and maintaining safe distance with the others.

"We always socialize 3M movement and continue to do Mask Operation to make people more discipline. Because wearing mask is the most effective way to prevent COVID-19 transmission," he asserted.
